Flatbillers, AKA Bros - You've seen them. Those tattooed kids who drive lifted trucks, wear flat-billed hats turned to the side and constantly talk about dirt bikes. These tough guys affectionately refer to each other as "Bro". Are they for real? Or are they just posers? dives headfirst into the underground world of the Flatbiller to find out.

Famous Flatbillers - Kottonmouth Kings

Saturday, May 20, 2006
The Kottonmouth Kings (aka KMK) have been at the forefront of the Flatbiller craze from the very beginning. These pioneers of white-boy rap are walking billboards for their own certified Bro Brand "SRH Clothing".

As far as we can tell, most KMK music is centered around getting high and drinking beer.

KMK love is almost universal among flatbillers. We have yet to come across a bro who doesn't like them.

where are these kids from??

What a shame, white people acting black. I think I'm going to start acting Eskimo. That might be the next cool thing.

If I tried my hardest, I couldn't pull off this kind of stereotypical whiggerdom!

who cares how people dress and choose to portray themselves? at least we live in a country where we can act and dress or do whatever we please. maybe we should have a website to talk shit about the high gas prices or illegal immigration. or let's revolt against this lame ass president that is killing our kids in iraq. nothing or nobody is perfect, of all these posts ive read on this website, never once have i seen where a flatbiller actually did something shitty to someone else. everybody is bitchin' about the way they dress or act or the girls they does that affect us in everyday life? the people that are posting negatively are just closed minded. i'm sure of all the people with comments we could find something lame about you or your lifestyle and ridicule it. but what would be the point? live and let die. most of all this negative bs is pure jealousness, plain and simple. if all of us would take some of this energy and direct it toward something that really mattered we would live in a much better place. this post is coming from a buena park born and raised flatbiller. i am over 30 years old now and have a great job as a fabricator and have dressed as i please my whole life. it just so happens that you have now put a label on it. if that is your crowning achievement you seriously need to take a reality check and wake up to what is really important...Family,Friends,and the Country that we have the Freedom to do as we please.

AMEN.... seriously... i completely agree with Christian G.

By Blogger Sasha, at 5/11/2006 01:19:00 PM

Christian G., you need to get a sense of humor. Your needless and condescending speech about our freedoms aside, this website is designed to poke fun of a very comical fashion statement: bro-core. Sorry, but middle-class white kids posing as street toughs, spending their next quarter-century's earnings on suspension lifts and black socks, are deeply funny. And you're a tool if you can't at least laugh at yourself.

Furthermore, while I am sure there are plenty of decent flatbillers out there who just like the style, the fact is that many bros are total assholes who pick fights everywhere they go, and their poor behavior at OHV parks has given nothing but help to Sierra Club fanatics trying to shut down public riding areas.

I do have a sense of humor..a warped one.what does it matter if the money they make is spent on black socks or lift kits, as long as they're making money it's theirs to spend as they please, just like you spend your money how you please. I have been riding for 25 years and have seen many parks close, deanza, saddleback, corona raceway to name a few, how did the so called flatbillers cause that? it's called coporate greed.the sierra club has had it's own agenda for as long as i can remember, back in the 70's riding in glamis there was plenty of idiots, just as there are today, it's not just flatbillers, as the population grows so goes the idiots. there is bad in all groups. I think this site is funny and come on here to get a laugh, but there have been some pretty hateful posts that have taken the humor out of it. maybe trying to educate some of these kids on the proper off road etiquite instead of demeaning them would help. don't forget that these kids came from parents just like you and I did, the only differance is our parents taught us the right way to treat our riding areas. and if you think a post mentioning our freedoms is needless, try living in cuba where only 2% of the general population has access to the internet and can't express their opinions one way or the other. by the way the only tool I know or use are the tools that I make me a living.

Dude, please, come off it already. I do not come to this site to educate myself on issues like poverty and injustice in the world. I am well aware that many areas of our planet are festering crapholes, but thanks for the tip.

This site is for laughs, period. You don't like the fact that it makes fun of you and people you associate with? Tough shit. One of the freedoms you talk about so passionately involves the liberty to make fun of ANYONE. And, yes, I am deeply grateful for that and a thousand other advantages we have as citizens of this country.

I agree that many of the posted comments are rough, but instead of whining about it, why don't you consider why people have flocked to this site. Bros don't generally make a good name for themselves, and one of the main reasons is this bullshit, tough-guy attitude many of them constantly front.

I don't have any special prejudice against bros, I just don't like poser assholes who bring an unnecessary level of confrontation to everything they fucking do. Believe me, when there is a site making fun of those chumps who hold up their camera phones at concerts, I will go there too.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5/11/2006 03:35:00 PM

I can't imagine why someone 30yo with a great job would even want to associate with a flatbiller. If a bunch of kids can realize what assholes most of these guys are and can spot them by the lame attire the sport, what do you think your peers say or think when they see you?

I'm sure any person could find something to ridicule me, but I can tell you it wont be because I'm uneducated, have a good job, don't think that the world revolves around smoking weed, or dress in a flatbiller uniform.

Maybe if there were fewer flatbillers driving around at 5 MPG in their big ol trucks, the demand for oil wouldn't be so high. But then that would probably adversely effect your fabrication business.

not all flatbillers smoke weed and spend time fighting im a bro and proud everyone of my friends is educated and own there own home on there dime no one elses.the kottonmouth kings do not represant the majority of bros at all they are posers but thats my opinion i cant judge a whole class of people for it though.stop hating
